Swing For Eggs Beginner Guide

Bring an egg home, turn it into a pet, and work out which upgrade will help your next run.

Start with an egg you can bring back

Welcome to the Swing For Eggs beginner guide. Follow these practical beginner steps: your first goal is a complete trip: leave your base, judge your swing range, reach an egg, carry it home and hatch it. A difficult egg is not much help if you cannot finish the return. Learn a shorter route before chasing the furthest area, and check both your Speed and remaining Swings before setting out.

This guide covers the choices that matter along the way: why more speed is not the same as more swings, what to compare in the Suit Shop, how the Eggs menu works, and which selling option to avoid when you only want to sell one item.

Your first trip, from base to hatch

  1. Check your starting stats. Look at the Speed display and the Swings counter. The recorded early run begins with a three-swing capacity; later suits show larger limits. Treat the counter on your own screen as the one that matters for your run.
  2. Choose a route you can repeat. The game's basic loop is to swing through zones, get past guardians and take an egg back to base. On a first attempt, pay attention to where you lose control or spend your last swing rather than trying to reach every zone at once.
  3. Plan the return before taking the egg. Identify the way back while travelling out. Other players can knock an egg from your hands, so a crowded return is a reason to be cautious—not proof you need a more expensive suit. No route here is guaranteed safe.
  4. Check the egg at base. Open the Eggs panel. Some entries may already offer Hatch while others still show a countdown and Skip. Follow the state of that individual egg instead of assuming all eggs finish together.
  5. Change the thing that stopped you. If the Swings counter ran out, compare capacity. If you want a higher displayed speed multiplier, compare that separately. Make one upgrade decision, then try the same route again so you can tell whether it helped.

More Speed or more Swings?

They are different numbers. Swings is the count shown in the bottom HUD, such as 3/3 or 6/6; the recording also shows it reaching 0/3. A suit's speed multiplier is another stat. Buying a higher multiplier does not necessarily increase the number of swings the suit lists.

The Advanced and Miles suits make that distinction clear. In Mamalili's September 18 recording, both list six swings, even though their multipliers and prices differ:

Swipe the table sideways to see both price options.

Suit Shop example, September 18, 2026. Check your current shop before buying.
SuitSwingsSpeedCash priceRobux option
Advanced Suit6×2.5$150K24
Miles Suit6×3$4M34

If your problem is running out of swings, Miles does not add capacity over Advanced in this comparison. Its displayed speed multiplier is higher. That is a reason to match the purchase to your problem instead of treating price as a universal ranking.

Compare the cash and Robux buttons before selecting either. These are alternative purchase options in the recorded shop, not a requirement to pay both. Your current game menu takes priority if the prices or suit stats have changed.

How to hatch eggs at your base

Use the Eggs tab to check the eggs you brought home. In the recorded menu, ready eggs have a Hatch button; unfinished eggs show a timer and Skip. There is also a Hatch All button at the top.

  1. Find the egg you want in the Eggs list.
  2. If it says Hatch, use that entry to hatch the ready egg.
  3. If it still has a countdown, wait for that egg rather than assuming another egg's Hatch button applies to it.
  4. Before using Skip, read the confirmation and cost. Do not assume it is free or that one purchase finishes every egg.

The recorded list contains ready and waiting eggs at the same time. A timer on one row is not a universal hatch duration, and the presence of Hatch All is not a promise that unfinished eggs will hatch for free.

For egg information and rarity context, continue to the egg guide. A rarity name alone does not tell you a hatch probability or guarantee a particular pet.

Selling: one item or your inventory?

Slow down at the selling menu. The recorded stall offers Sell equipped!, Sell your inventory! and Never mind. A message also says to hold an item to sell it.

If you only intend to sell one item, hold the intended item and check the equipped-item option. Do not choose the inventory-wide option as a shortcut. If you are unsure what is selected, cancel with Never mind and check your items first.

The recording does not establish which items a bulk sale excludes or whether sales can be undone. Keep anything you want to retain out of a decision you do not understand; do not rely on an assumed undo button.

What to check when you get stuck

“I bought a suit but still have the same number of swings.”
Compare the listed capacity of the old and new suits. Different suits can share a six-swing limit while offering different speed multipliers. Check which suit is equipped before spending again.
“Some eggs hatch, but others are still waiting.”
Read each egg's row. Hatch and countdown states can appear together. A paid skip's scope is not established here; read its confirmation instead of assuming it applies to all eggs.
“A Secret egg announcement appeared. Where do I go?”
Read the location in the announcement. One recorded banner names Candy. That is a destination for that announcement, not proof that every Secret appears there or follows a fixed timer.
“When should I go back for more eggs?”
The game description says nests reset every night. Watch your own server rather than assuming a universal clock. The night timer estimates the next interval from your manual observations; it does not read the server.

Beginner questions

Do I need to buy Miles after Advanced?

Not simply to gain more swings: the recorded versions both list six. Compare the speed multiplier and your available cash, then decide whether that change addresses your current problem.

Does a Secret announcement guarantee I can get the egg?

No guarantee is established. The announcement gives you a location to investigate; it does not remove the need to reach the egg and bring it back.

Should I follow the video's exact spending order?

Use it to understand the menus, not as a required budget. The creator buys paid boosts, so that session's progress and income should not be treated as a free-player timetable.
