Swing For Eggs Money Guide

Put your pets to work toward a specific upgrade, then check whether another egg run or more training will help you most.

Start with your pets and a purchase target

Check the cash/s values in Pets, decide what you are saving for, and estimate the gap from your current balance. Bring back and hatch eggs to add pet options; train Speed when the route to your next egg is the problem. These are connected steps, not the same activity.

A good next session has a concrete goal: save enough for a particular suit, improve your equipped pet income, or train enough Speed to attempt a longer route. Avoid spending the money for one goal on an unrelated purchase halfway through.

1. Check which pets are earning for you

Open Pets and read each entry's cash/s and equipped state. In the recorded panel, equipped entries have an Unequip button, and Equip Best appears underneath the list. Review the resulting lineup after changing it rather than judging a pet only by its size.

Compare the cash figures directly when income is your goal. The same panel displays weight in kg, but kg is not a cash-per-second unit. The pet-income guide walks through a real panel example and explains the separate offline banner.

Before setting out again, check Eggs for any ready Hatch buttons. A ready egg gives you another pet to compare; an unfinished countdown is a reason to check back later, not a requirement to buy Skip.

2. Measure the cash rate you are actually getting

For a saving estimate, a short wallet observation can be more useful than copying a creator's income figure. Try this without buying, selling, claiming rewards or changing pets during the measurement:

  1. Write down your starting cash balance.
  2. Stay in the same earning state for a measured period, such as 30 seconds.
  3. Subtract the starting balance from the ending balance.
  4. Divide the increase by elapsed seconds to get an average cash/s.

Repeat the observation if a reward or purchase changed the balance. If the wallet display is rounded, use a longer interval to reduce the rounding effect. This measures the session you are in; it does not establish a permanent income rate for your account.

3. Work out the wait before buying

Read the current price in the shop, subtract your wallet balance, then divide the remaining cash by your measured rate. The resource calculator does this and handles already-reached targets or a zero earning rate.

Example, not a game income claim: suppose you have $100,000, want a $150,000 purchase and measure $1,000/s. You need $50,000 more. At that unchanged rate, the estimated wait is 50 seconds.

(150,000 − 100,000) ÷ 1,000 = 50 seconds

If you spend $20,000 along the way, add that spending back into the gap and recalculate. If you improve your earning rate, replace the old rate. A saving estimate is only useful while its inputs still describe your session.

Collect eggs, train, or keep saving?

You can finish your current route and want more pet options
Repeat a route you can bring an egg home from, then compare the hatch result with your lineup. A new egg is another outcome to inspect, not a guaranteed income improvement.
You cannot reach or return from the area you want
Check Speed and remaining Swings separately. Use the progression guide to choose between training and a suit upgrade instead of repeatedly losing the same run.
Your target is close and your current income is sufficient
Keep the balance intact until you can make the intended purchase. Check the item's stats once more before buying so the purchase fixes the problem you chose it for.

Avoid these expensive shortcuts

Selling your lineup to buy an upgrade

Check what you will keep earning with before selling. The stall has different choices for the equipped item and the entire inventory. If you only want to sell one item, use the selling instructions rather than choosing the bulk option.

Using offline earnings as an online rate

The “/Day offline!” banner and pet “/s” labels use different units and contexts. Enter an observed online cash/s into a saving calculation, not the offline daily number.

Copying a paid speedrun's budget

The source gameplay includes paid boosts and hatch skips. Its fast progression is useful for seeing menus, but it is not a free-player timetable. Use your own cash balance, earning rate and current shop price.
