Swing For Eggs Maps & Core Systems
Understand the fundamental mechanics of movement, training treadmills, server-wide countdowns, and selling stalls.
Core Exploration Loop
Gameplay operates in a continuous loop: train your Speed at treadmills, equip a suit that grants sufficient swings, swing across open air toward outlying islands to claim eggs, and safely return to sell or hatch them.
1. Swings & Web Movement
Movement through the air relies on the HOLD JUMP TO SWING mechanic. As you launch, your character extends web lines to anchor and swing forward.
- Swing Counter: Displayed at the bottom center (e.g.
3/3 Swingsor6/6 Swings). Every time you latch and swing, one swing is deducted. - Running Out Mid-Air: When your counter hits
0/N Swings, you cannot generate additional web swings until landing or respawning. Budget your swings carefully for both the outward and return trip. - Planning Your Route: Use our Speed & Swing Budget Planner to ensure you have enough swings to get back.
2. Speed Stat & Treadmill Training
Your Speed determines how quickly you travel through the air during each swing. Higher speed allows you to cover much larger gaps per swing.
- Treadmills: Stepping onto training treadmills steadily accumulates Speed. Early treadmills grant rates such as +125 Speed/s, while higher tiers award +500/s or +625/s.
- Treadmill Upgrades: Upgrading treadmills (e.g. Level 3 to Level 4) costs in-game cash and increases your training rate.
- Estimate Wait Times: Use our Resource Calculator to calculate exactly how many seconds of training are needed to reach your next Speed target.
3. Server Events: Night Cycles & Egg Resets
Roblox servers run periodic cycles indicated by timers on the HUD:
- Night Timer: A countdown in the lower HUD (e.g.
🌙 in 45s) indicates the next night cycle or server event. - Egg Spawns: Banners display countdowns for rare egg appearances (e.g. Legendary Egg in: 1:16, Colossal Egg in: 50:20).
- Secret Announcements: Periodic system messages alert all players when rare eggs spawn in specific zones (e.g. Candy island).
- Timer Tracker: Use our Server Event Timer to log countdowns and estimate median reset intervals in your server.
4. Stalls & The Selling System
At the spawn hub, a market stall allows players to convert collected items into cash and evaluate each outcome:
- "Sell equipped!": Requires holding an item in hand. If empty-handed, the stall warns "Hold an item to sell it!". This produces a predictable cash outcome for that single item.
- "Sell your inventory!": Sells all eligible unequipped items at once. Take care not to sell items you intend to keep.
- "Never mind": Safely closes the interaction prompt without selling anything.
