Swing For Eggs Progression Guide

Train for your next trip, improve the stat holding you back, and use your pets to fund the next purchase.

Upgrade the part of the run that is failing

Short of Speed? Check your treadmill. Running out of swings? Compare suit capacity. Short of cash for either? Check your hatched pets and their income. These are different problems, so the most expensive item in the shop is not automatically your next upgrade.

The practical loop is train → collect and hatch eggs → check pet income → buy a useful upgrade → try the next route. Start with a trip you can finish, then extend it as your stats improve.

1. Set a Speed target and train toward it

At your base, the treadmill displays a Speed gain per second. The progression bar shows your current amount and the next target. Read both before deciding whether to train longer or spend on an upgrade.

In Mamalili's September 18 session, the Crystal Beach bar shows roughly 28.5k / 40k and the treadmill displays +125/s. That leaves 11,500 Speed to gain. At an unchanged rate of 125 per second, the arithmetic is:

(40,000 − 28,500) ÷ 125 = 92 seconds

That is an estimate of training time, not a timed test or a guarantee. Use the current rate on your own treadmill; an upgrade, boost or interruption changes the estimate. If you are already at the target, no additional training is needed for that number.

Keep the units separate: the blue Speed gain is not cash income. A pet earning cash each second does not mean it adds the same amount of Speed.

2. Check what a treadmill upgrade changes

The upgrade sign beside the treadmill shows a level change and price. Compare that cost with your current cash, then check the new displayed training rate after an upgrade. This is a clearer decision than buying repeatedly without watching the result.

The same recorded session later shows +500/s on a purple treadmill and +625/s on a yellow one after an upgrade. It also has a paid Speed-boost badge, so these are examples of that account's rates, not the default rate for everyone at those levels.

For the same 11,500-Speed gap, a steady 500/s would take 23 seconds; a steady 625/s would take 18.4 seconds. The faster rate helps training, but whether its cash cost is worthwhile depends on your own next target and how long you plan to train.

3. Buy swing capacity only when the suit adds it

Before a purchase, compare both Swings and the Speed multiplier. In the recorded shop, Advanced Suit and Miles Suit each list six swings, while their Speed multipliers are ×2.5 and ×3. Moving between them changes the listed multiplier, not the listed swing capacity.

If your last attempt ended with an empty Swings counter, look specifically for a capacity increase rather than assuming a higher price provides one. If capacity was not the issue, training or a different route may be the more useful next step.

The suit comparison includes the two shop prices and a video link. Check the current in-game offer before purchasing; this guide does not calculate undocumented swing physics or promise a safe crossing.

4. Turn returned eggs into useful pet income

Back at base, check Eggs for ready Hatch entries. Waiting eggs have their own countdowns. After a hatch, open Pets and compare the displayed cash/s with your existing lineup before deciding what to equip or sell.

For a cash goal, work from the income numbers rather than the size of the pet model. Keep kg, cash/s and the offline daily banner separate. A large offline total in a video is not the guaranteed reward from your next egg.

The egg and pet guide explains those fields. Before selling to fund an upgrade, check whether you selected the equipped item or your entire inventory.

Which problem should you fix next?

Your Speed bar is below the next target
Train and estimate the remaining time from the current gain/s. Compare an upgrade only after reading its cash cost.
You still run out of swings after buying a suit
Check that it is equipped and whether it actually increases capacity. Some different suits share the same number of swings.
You cannot afford the next purchase
Check ready eggs and the cash/s of your equipped pets. Pick a specific purchase to save for instead of spending on unrelated upgrades while trying to reach it.
Your progress looks slower than the video
The example session uses paid boosts and edited footage. Compare your visible stats and completed trips, not the creator's video runtime.
